The Canvas is a single continuous artwork assembled from every work sold on Artaver. When a work sells, a copy of its primary image is placed permanently in one cell of that mosaic, shown alongside the name of the studio that made it and linked to that studio's page.
By listing, selling, or reselling a work on Artaver, you expressly grant Artaver a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to reproduce, display, publicly perform, and distribute that work's image as a component of The Canvas — including in reproductions of The Canvas as a whole, in any medium now known or later devised, and in materials promoting Artaver or The Canvas.
You confirm that you own or control the rights necessary to grant this license, and you agree that inclusion in The Canvas is an authorized use and does not constitute copyright infringement, misappropriation, or a violation of any moral, publicity, or related right. You waive any claim against Artaver, its operators, and its users arising from that inclusion.
This license is limited to The Canvas and to Artaver's own promotion of it. It does not permit Artaver to sell your work as a standalone image, to license it to third parties for their own use, or to claim authorship. You retain full copyright in the underlying work at all times.
Placement is permanent by design: The Canvas is a historical record of what this community has made and sold, and removing cells would falsify it. A cell may therefore remain after a listing is delisted, a studio closes, or an account is closed. Artaver may remove a cell at its discretion — for example where a work is found to infringe someone else's rights, or violates the House Rules.
If you do not agree to your work appearing in The Canvas, do not sell that work on Artaver.
